How to use android as webcam

Want to turn your Android phone into a webcam? Follow these refreshed steps to get up and running in a few minutes.

1: Install the IP Webcam app from Google Play on your Android phone.

2: Connect your phone and PC to the same Wi-Fi network, open IP Webcam, note the streaming URL, and view the feed in a desktop browser.

3:  If you plan to use your Android phone as a webcam in video conferencing apps like Zoom, Meet, Skype, or Facebook, install a virtual camera driver on Windows.
Download and install the webcamXP MJPG filter—it still offers excellent compatibility with MJPEG streams.
4: Pair the driver with a virtual camera app such as ManyCam.
Download the latest ManyCam installer from the official site.

5: Configure ManyCam to use the IP Webcam virtual source, then open the Properties panel.

Paste your video feed URL in RAW mode, add credentials if you enabled authentication, and save the settings.

6: You’re ready to go! Use ManyCam as the source in your video app’s webcam settings.
